White Power (2025)

Year: 2025
Dimensions: 3 pieces, 18x14x6 cm
Technique: ready-made, digital print

An artistic work consisting of three laundry detergent packages—ready-mades with digitally printed surfaces—serves as a commentary on mechanisms of consumption and processes of cultural self-colonization. The piece addresses the nationalist belief in the uniqueness of one’s own nation, intertwined with a peripheral inferiority complex in relation to the center. Its point of departure is a myth popular among Polish consumers: the belief in the superior quality of German chemical products compared to their Polish counterparts.
